I can tell you that my 10 speaker has the following speakers:
Dashboard center channel T4 (4" speaker)
Front Doors - 5.25 at bottom with a T4 as a tweeter near mirrors
Rear Doors - 5.25
Rear Pillars - T4
Sub in cargo - 8"
Can you post a pic of the stock sub enclosure you bought?
This website shows someone doing a fiberglass mod for the first time. It is pretty consistent with other sites I have seen.

You could use that cubby space to make a stealth enclosure. Unless...
I just had to do this last spring. If you are going to replace 3 bulbs, you might as well replace them all. I believe there are 7 or 11..can't remember exactly. I do remember there are at least 3 different part #'s.
I found them at a Toyota dealer in Bethlehem PA. They can ship to you, in...
I used to be a micro brew beer nut, but I'm getting old and the hops bothers my stomach.
However, I'm OK with almost everything else aside for whiskey and scotch (sucks!!)..
My standby Grand Mariner on the rocks (unless I have the coin for 100 year as it is simply delightful)

If Weifert can't, I can do it this coming Monday. I have off from work. I would do it earlier, but going to the in-laws this weekend and leaving Thursday. I thought about doing it tonight, but the pics wouldn't come out well.
I'm only 30 minutes away..
Reading some of the other Posts, one forum user mentioned a PAC Tato unit from Crutchfield. It is the module interface for aftermarket HU with the JBL system. I verified it and it is on sale for $37.
I am doing a happy dance since I've been holding off on buying my HU until I have my amps..
I just recently replaced mine. I had 120k on my 03. After doing some research on the batteries listed above, I bought a platinum Die Hard unit at Sears since it rated the best. Dummy me. I could have simply filled up the battery with some distilled water to bring it back to life. I didn't...
I've only read of some buying replacement LCD screens due to this issue and painstakenly soldering them in. There is an outfit that rebuilds these HU's. Not too expensive, but generally more expensive then replacing with an aftermarket HU, if that is an option.
First try your fuses. The one that handles your illumination might be blown. If not, I would say the HU took a hit somehow.
My wife's Mazda blew a relay and fried some wiring from a simple jump. Sometimes things just happen.
You have a JBL amp that powers everything (located behind the plastic molding in the passenger rear cargo area to the left of the sub). The stock head unit just provides a signal via a digital link (as I recall reading). I am not aware of any modules to allow the adding of an aftermarket head...
Not sure if it is in all 4R's, but it is a platform in the cargo area that acts like a shelf (raises off the cargo floor). The manual calls it a picnic table. Like other references, it also slopes downward allowing items to roll out when the liftgate is opened.
It's nice to tuck away...

You would have an amp located under the plastic molding in the passenger rear cargo area. Crutchfield sells an item called a Pac Taco or something like that (found it in another post). You will need it to wire into the JBL amp. It's on sale for $37, but normally $75. Plus an...

Guess I've been watching toooo much Seinfeld re-runs lately. 11, 13 and 15 are dumb (wife rolled her eyes as well). No doubt you find the entire list dumb, but humor side (or lack of as you are so kind to point out), that is my contribution.
I'm glad to be a new member to this...
