Sounds like bad gas. This happened to my parents before. Call the station and see if they have had other complaints. Also, they should have a stick to measure tank levels that also has a compound that will indicate the presence of water in the gas. Have them measure and check for water.

I saw a thread that had pointed that out. I'm not really interested in tracking down a rear seat and doing the swap. My current back seat is in pristine condition, it would be very hard to find a seat in similar condition, without purchasing new. It is an option to keep in mind though.
