Care to explain the difference between a strut and a coilover shock?

The mcpherson strut that has the coil spring on it. I need a longer strut to accomodate the extra lift.

Does anyone know where to get a strut for a 4R that is lifted with spacers? Thanks

You are probably trying to plug into the harness coming out of the factory amp. Follow that plug/harness down (~10 inches) below where the radio is mounted. There you will find the factory amp. Unplug the amp and use those wires that went to the amp. Your Metra harness will plug directly...
