I found a big solution to the ebrake problems for this set up. These calipers are 38mm and there is an upgrade to 43mm from a Taurus of a similar year range. I am still testing it and only put about 2 miles on the truck, but it does have better pedal feel and the best part is the e brake holds...

Why do people seem to always suggest synthetic line?

USPS is the devil. I had a package "out for delivery" last thursday and now suddenly its just in transit and they have no other data besides from that. Their local post office response is to just wait 10 days and come back. They are worthless.

I would also suggest you look for obvious signs of wear or chew marks from rodents. Good luck. Electrical issues are never fun.

It could be you rear U joint. I had similar symptoms to what you describe when mine was failing.

I believe you want to use the 3rd line from the bottom if my memory serves me correctly.

Very doable alone. There are plenty of youtube walk throughs. Take your time and double check intervening. If you can read and follow instructions you will be fine.

Bears are no joke. Whenever we camp we always put our smelly stuff in a bear bag overnight. Not even thinking of taking that risk.

Definitely do a leak down test and compression test. Also may want to try a coolant pressure test. Based on what i have read, its highly likely a head gasket or cracked head issue with coolant leaking into the cylinder. Mine does this currently and have found no fix for it.
