Good reading. But, like i stated in my original post. The sound alone was worth the cost. As far as mileage goes. Hot air,cold air, air density or whatever, it has increased from in town average from 18.3 to 19.8. So throwing perceived or actual performance out the door, worth it to me...

Speaking of science. I am sure you have tested the cold air kits as well as the oem box to determine the actual air temperature of the air inside the intake tube at the throttle body. I am sure we all would love to see the outcome of your own personal research. Please post the numbers so we all...

Sure did. And i would do it again. Swapped on every car I've had. All have increased mpg and throttle response. Sounds throatier as well. So yep switched it for hot air and the above listed reasons.

I installed the Spectre intake yesterday. Did feel a little stronger but the sound was well worth the $135 it cost from Autoanything.
