Your Experience with NON OEM Tie Rods

Cali sounds fun! Let me know what you end up going with as far as tie rods. Nice to have options, and hope you're doing well! When are you coming up to Colorado?

Your Experience with NON OEM Tie Rods

I just rebuilt the entire front end haha. I'd go with oem inners for sure, I've run the 555 outers in the past and they seemed to last awhile. I have oem outers now though. I'd just hate to have to get back in there sooner than I have to, so I figured going oem would be the best bet. Oem lasted...

    Coverking Tactical Seat Covers

Looks like an ideal solution. Looking forward to seeing others experience with these as I've also been on the hunt for some covers.

    Oversized Oil Filter

Brandon, for the price you're paying for a mobil-1, I believe you can get the same performance for less money out of a puralator or wix filter, which is what I ran after getting tired of paying a premium for Mobil 1. Now I use oem Toyota, because it's cheaper and more convenient being close to a...

    Moving to Georgia from Arizona

Hey everybody, Will be arriving into Georgia by the end of this month and will be looking for places to wheel and meet some new people. I'll be in the Greensboro/Putnam county area for a month or so, but will be located permanently near Canton after. Here's a few shots of my rig if you see me...

    LED Light Bar Wiring

Damnit! I need to hurry up and sell my lightforce and get a bar myself. I was looking at southeast overland's wiring harness. Comes with everything you need. I'm sure there are other harnesses out there too that would work. Where did you get your bar from? LED Light Mounts & Wiring : Switch Kit...

    ome 861s 6" lift?

Once you lift the front it will level out a bit and look similar to Dee3's. I feel like lifting the front not only lifts the front, but also rebalances the vehicle by pushing/placing force back towards the rear a bit, not a ton, but some (definately more than now haha). It will look and feel...

    Rubicon Nov 9-10

Awesome report. Really cool seeing a 3rd gen conquer the con. Don't see too much of that. Besides the obvious tires, suspension, and protection, what else are you running on your rig, front locker?

Fs: Lc 7.5 wrap coils-$85 plus shipping

These coils were purchased as part of the Sonoran steel lift kit. They have only about 10k miles on them. Asking $85 plus shipping from Tucson, az. Willing to arrange local pickup as well.

    Help with this noise please!!!!

It could really be as simple as your cotter pin rubbing up against the inside of your dust cap.. I'd take off your dust cap and see if you have any paint worn off in the inside and then bend the cotter pin away from the dust cap. Edit: never mind I just watched the video, it's something else.

Goodyear DuraTrac vs BFG All Terrain

It would suck to get away from my bfg mud 255's (lighter, better fuel economy, less strain on drivetrain, fewer rubbing issues to contend with), but if I had to go with a 285, then I'd go with the duratracs hands down. A lot of tire for the money IMO. Might even be able to get a great deal on...

Oil Change. What should I use?

Shell Rotella T6 syn 5-40 from Walmart. I live in az and this seems to be a good oil for how hard I use the truck in this climate.
