The key for my '88 4Runner was worn down because the previous owner had quite a few keys on his ring. The ignition was fine... Just had a replacement key made and all was good. Joel

my '88 came with a downey intake and header and custom exhaust. sounds great and seems a bit peppier than my father-in-law's stock '93 4x4 pickup with 22re. i would suspect if you went with a header then the intake and exhaust wouldn't be to far behind - LOL. G E T I T! joel
