Understandable. There are most likely more incidents in your area with the Matrix then there are with the 4Runner. My 05 Corvette was 1/3rd the cost to insure compared with my WRX STi.

It would be a bit more expensive over an Accord. Now if you were talking more about a Civic, then it would be cheaper as a lot of kids have them and get into accidents. Civics are also stolen often. Our rate went up $10 a month going from our '10 Rav4 Limited to the '11 4WD SR5 4Runner.

So I have a new 2011 4runner and my only real complaint is the 2nd row bench seat. Has anyone tried taking the seats out of the highlander and putting them in? Are the brackets the same? Any other options? I tried searching and it seems as others have this issue with earlier models as well...
