Brian, first thank you lots of good information in this thread. Opinions of the JE heads you bought? You swap them to your new engine? Any regrets with the purchase? I'm in a very similar situation and looking to replace both heads.

Thank you! Worked perfect. Went to replace my fuel pump and it looks like it had been done one already and the plug and wires were a mess and held together with some silicone caulking.

Mounted mine originally raw as is and didn't like it. So I painted the side rails and fairing black. I'll see if I can dig up a pic
