Yeah. It ended up being the mass air flow sensor. $140 later, problem solved. You can try cleaning it first, bit that didn't work for me.

absolutely nothing wrong with shifting to 4wd on the fly. the transfer case actually meshes when turning.

yeap, 100% correct. button is for AWD, no center connect. no binding.

X2, i have that filter cup wrench as well. one cv type joint for the socket and a loch extension. 1st time was a ***** though.

you can also look into the cooper discoverer s/t. not to be confused with the s/tt. these tires are pretty aggressive, clean out very nicely and are wearing incredible. i shouldn't have a problem getting 60K out of mine.

clean runner. next time you have the tires rotated, turn the lettering in unless firestone is paying you to run them. not a big fan of the white lettering.
