    Octanejunkie's T4R project - 99 SR5 4WD 5-speed

Congrats on the new 4Runner! Looking forward to see how this one progresses.

    JBD's '97 Sunfire Red SR5 T4R

It's hard to believe it's been 3-1/2 years since I posted an update here, but I've barely done anything to my 4Runner but drive it since then. It's been very reliable, but it recently started having issues that needed to be addressed. Off and on I had been experiencing a semi-violent clunck in...

Retained Accessory Power To Radio - Do 3rd Gens Have It?

I don’t really know the answer to your question, but I believe what you are looking for is the non-load reduction circuit (at least that what it’s called in the Audi world). In other words, the circuit that still gets voltage while cranking the engine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And I think most of my upcoming free time might be pre-occupied with a new project car. I bought back this Audi CQ that I regrettably sold about 4 years ago. As for T4R content, the 4Runner did pretty well towing it from central Kansas to NE Oklahoma. Although, it was slow going with a...

    JBD's '97 Sunfire Red SR5 T4R

Not too much going on with my 4Runner, except driving it every day. But I did get tired of the old grill and decided to start modding it. Just waiting on the emblem.

    Alternator Brush Replacement Question...

Don't over tighten the tensioner bolt. I think I followed what they said in a youtube video and it was way too much torque.

Great looking 3 series! I look forward to the day I can have a project car again. Gotta get my boys through college first.

    JBD's '97 Sunfire Red SR5 T4R

Just checking with an updated pic after the rear coil swap from OME 906's to OME 890's. Loving it so far. It's got enough rake to handle the times when I have additional passengers or gear. Seems to ride better for everyday use too.

It's definitely wider than the stock mirror. Mine is centered on the glass and does limit the forward travel of the drivers side visor, but it doesn't bother me enough to mess with it. If the mirror were offset to the passengers side maybe another inch, it wouldn't limit the travel of the...

FS: 3rd GEN OME 906 Rear Springs - $120, OK

I have a nearly new set of OME 906 rear springs for sale. They have less than 5k miles on them. I needed something a little taller. Cost me $170 + shipping a few months ago. Asking $120 o.b.o. + shipping.

    Octanejunkie's 4runner Journal - 2WD

Good to see you start a build thread. I'm about to swap TO the 890 rear springs myself. The 906 springs I have now are too low (when loaded) for me. Did you get anything figured out with the RPM issue?
