Am I able to just replace the boot. I think my buddy hit the boot and did damage it . Also is this something needs to be replace immediately or can it wait awhile

I just installed the 5100s and toy tech springs. My upper boot is now leaking grease. Do I need to replace this entire part or is this to be expected with the removal and re install of the old part ?

so if I get the 2" OME 885's or toytech what setting should I use on the Bilstein 5100 for the front. Sorry I don't know much about this I'm having a friend do the install for me just trying to make sure I have everything and all the information
