Beatty Metal Works Rear Winch Bumper for 5th Gen 4Runner

Any pics of the option with winch and hitch? and is the hitch still usable for towing a trailer?

    Stainless Steel Brake Lines

When I did my brakes I did buy the stoptech lines but ended up not putting them in since it seemed to not be worth the trouble. I had found that the OEM lines are rubber but the inside is kevlar lined, so there is no flex like older rubber lines. I will change them out once my rubber lines get...

Magnusson SuperCharger REBUILD - anybody done one?

Agreed, 100k is about average life, but you can pretty easily replace the bearings, seals and oil as long as you have a press. Rest of the hard parts should last forever.

    First 4wd Owner question...

I call BS on previous owner leaving it in N all the time as that is literally neutral and would not drive at all. It should normally be in 2H all the time except when 4wd is needed. 4h for normal fire roads etc and 4lo for rock crawling.

Serpentine belt change with Magnuson SC BEWARE!

Definitely interested myself! Curious if you will do any improvements while in there like boring it out or putting in a solid(unsprung) coupler like the taco guys do?

Are rear diff service and trans fluid exchange both easy for a beginner?

No special tools, but I personally prefer and would want to make sure they are using the OEM toyota fluids and not off-brand.

Are rear diff service and trans fluid exchange both easy for a beginner?

At the prices you listed, It would be worth it to just have them do it for convenience and to reduce risk. If you don't have all the proper tools you will need to buy those too. I only do it myself because I already have the tools and experience.

    Fabtech 6-inch lift reversal

Any 3" lift would work but you will need to do BMC, pinch weld mod and cut front fenders/trim front bumper.

    Fabtech 6-inch lift reversal

I had read through the install before and all of it would be reversible except cutting the front subframe. You may need to reweld or replace the subframe to make it strong enough again to be fine since you won't have the fabtech cross beam installed anymore.

Service Recommendations before towing new camper

Good Job! You should be all set to go then. Maybe do a trans flush/fill to be even better. If you wanted to be even safer you can add a trans fluid cooler. Other than that just proper maintenance is all thats needed to tow!

Service Recommendations before towing new camper

Lol I missed the part about NOT changing those fluids. Yea you should change diff/transfer case fluid every 30k, and preferably do at least a trans drain and fill every 60k. Those were definitely not just dealer upsells!

Service Recommendations before towing new camper

I don't think you need any special maintenance for towing. If anything I would just recommend adding a trans cooler and making sure you have a trailer brake controller.

Canadian to American 4Runner Speedometer Swap?

Not sure how you would deal with the importing side of it, but I would assume the cluster would just plug in if you find one same year with similar miles. In my G35 the cluster just swaps out easily but the mileage is stored in the cluster not ECU. I assume it is similar.

    SSW wheel help. What’s needed?

You can't use OEM lugs on those wheels. They need to be the skinny conical tuner lugs. I have the exact same wheels. Black chrome would last, but you would need to find high quality black chrome tuner style lugs I also have the OEM black lugs to use with my snow tires on OEM wheels and they are...

    SSW wheel help. What’s needed?

I wouldn't get black as it's just paint and it will eventually scratch and rust. ET lugs will not work with those wheels. You need "tuner" lugs which are the thinner lugs that use a key. I would just pick up a set from Discount Tire. As for valve stems you will need to just use the OEM TPMS as...
