Just a quick update. The person that was communicating with me the whole time did send me new brackets, took about a week plus a couple days for it to arrive. But they were still too wide. (to be exact it looks to be 1/16 of an inch too much on one end and 3/16 of an inch on the other...

My experience is quite similar. Now that my side rails have arrived they don’t fit onto the brackets... the slots on the rail where the brackets slip into are cut too short. All this; after I powder-coated the whole darn thing. Now I have to either cut my brackets or notch the side rail slots...

Would anyone mind taking some measurements for the side rails ? The 2nd package with my side rails have been in limbo for the longest time. They never sent me a tracking number for it, and have said they dropped off at FedEx a month ago and are waiting for a tracking number. Not sure how...

I'm planning to get either a Magna Flow or Borla... But the Borla system only has it available for the V8 right ?? And if they designed it for the V8, should I worry that if bolted on to my V6 it'll lose back pressure ? And since gas prices are so high, how much did it affect the gas mileage ?

hi, Im new here to this forum. I searched this forum but found nothing about Oceano Dunes, located in Central California. I'm planning to go there but wasn't sure if off-road tires are really needed. I have the most recent generation 4runner. 4wd SR5 V6 currently have regular road tires...
