Fluid change and some rust work Got up early and changed the oil, front diff, rear diff, and transfer case oil today. I also did some wire brush and fluid film on the under bits. Finished it off with a tire rotation and she’s ready for many more miles!

Yeah, I usually change my own oil. It wasn’t there when I bought it. Looks like it was a pain to get off as there is a broken bolt in one of the two spots too. Thanks for the part number! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you consider repairing the cover? The field of tent repair is an age old tradition for some. Also silnylon and similar fabrics are easily had and easily repaired for cheap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Worked at my local Boy Scout reservation for the day. Getting ready for our upcoming Wood Badge course. My new to me 4Runner came in handy on their rutted our trails. Bone stock and handled it beautifully!

But getting messy is half the fun! I guess my wife and driveway may not enjoy the potential magnitude of this mess.

I just did the rear diff and transfer case fluid today. I mucked it up a bit though. I used the silver crush gaskets on the rear diff instead of the thinner gaskets. Since I had already used them when I got to the transfer case I decided to reuse the old ones. No leaks from either. Question...
