Hello Forum, I never post here but i occasionally visit. I am in need of new front and rear shocks (2011 Limited). I plan to replace with OEM parts/shocks. Does anyone know of a repair shop in the Chicagoland area that I can trust to do a good job and at a fair price. Thanks in advance...

yes, I have about the exact same MPG as you do in summer and winter. Am I the only one who plays the "lets see how high i can get my MPG" game..and thus drives so rpm stay low and accelerating hard is painful.

I recently had the exact same problem and also heard it when backing out the garage. I would also hear it when driving over a speed table in the neighborhood. I took to the dealership and explained the situation. Actually the tech knew what sound i was referring to ("sounds like tin rattling")...

well, I just spoke with Jerry yesterday and purchased an extended warranty. I also just called Toyota Financial Services (corporate office) and spoke with Brad. He confirmed they can be purchased at any dealer in US.

JF & Dave; thanks for feedback and insight. Update: Just purchased a 6 yr/100,000 for $749. (Zero Deductible) Jerry @ Midwest Toyota (888-474-2189) was great to deal with. Definitely recommend him as he was very straightforward and gave additional feedback about the warranty.

I lost a few beers to a fall out the trunk like you. Now, beer is designated to the floor of back seat or securely positioned behind other bags that are also in the trunk.

I'm jealous and quite disappointed that Chicago area has not had a decent snowfall in over 1.5 years. When we had the blizzard two years ago, I took my (then new) Limited out to play in the snow. I actually tried to get stuck but couldn't even come close. (stock rims and yokahama tires)...
