WTB Front Bumper Crossmember for Addicted Bumper - 3rd Gen

Hey All, This is a shot in the dark, but does anyone have the crossmember that comes with the Addicted Offroad tube bumper? I found a used one on CL, but would like to find the actual crossmember before trying to fab something up. I contacted AOR and they do not sell the crossmember...

Anyone here ever siped mud tires?

MrHentoni, This is where I got the Ideal Heated Knife Ideal Heated Knives 250W Grooving Iron - Includes (12) #4 Blades : 125 It worked really well, but I spent about 45min/tire because of all of the grooving/siping. I definitely notice a difference in acceleration and braking, but I need to...

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Well, a quick update. Now that that sipes have opened up a bit, there is a VERY noticeable difference in stopping and starting. I'm still having some issues with lateral traction so I may add some more sipes on the outer lugs at some point.

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I went a little crazy the other night with the tire grooving/siping tool on my BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM's 255/75/17. I have been driving in a winter/snowy climate for a lot of years so I feel VERY comfortable driving in any conditions, but these tires on my '98 have been a sketchy combo...

Anyone here ever siped mud tires?

I went a little crazy last night with the tire grooving/siping tool. Like I said, I have been driving in a winter/snowy climate for a lot of years so I feel VERY comfortable driving in any conditions, but these tires on my '98 have been a sketchy combo. I've been feeling the back end walk out...

Anyone here ever siped mud tires?

Unner, Any update on the improvement after siping? Did you get your tires siped at a shop? I just bought a grooving/siping tool and I plan on doing both to my BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM's. I've been driving in the snow/ice for the last 20 years and I've noticed a BIG difference in these tires...

    TRD Tundra Lift Question

Hey all! I've got a '98 SR5 and I'm currently working on putting the TRD Tundra coil lift up front with OME 906's in the rear. I measured 20" all around from center of hub to bottom of fender. I'm going to reuse the stock Tundra Billie's (blue/yellow) shocks for now until I get the newer...

Potential for new plate style bumper from Addicted Offroad

I'm definitely going to keep my eyes on this post! Would you be able to weld on some tabs on the inside and top of the hoop for lights? That may be a nice option as well. It would keep the lights inside of the hoop for protection but still give you clearance for a winch below.

Potential for new plate style bumper from Addicted Offroad

Very clean looking bumper for sure!! What about adding recovery points and cutouts for blinkers? (I'm sure those are on your radar, just wondering what your thoughts were) Edit: Looks like you already answered the recovery point question above.

Potential for new plate style bumper from Addicted Offroad

I'm in the process of replacing my stock bumpers as we speak. I REALLY like the design of that bumper, especially the recessed winch mount. Cost/availability/weight would be my only concerns/questions. Looks great though!!

    Help with Remote Start install

For some reason you aren't able to accept my PM. We can try to troubleshoot here instead I guess. If I'm reading your post correctly, you aren't getting any output from the starter wire (purple) coming off the remote start? This could be caused by a couple of different things... Do you have a...

help with stock headunit with external amp install

There are two ways you can add a sub amp and sub to a factory head unit. You can either use a line output converter (tap into front or rear speaker outputs from the head unit making sure polarity is correct then running RCA's to your amp) or you can run high-level outputs from the head unit...
