Yes,,, i don't have a bolt meter but i have been wearing my "volt" meter out:cowboy: Ive tested and re-tested all parts except the computer that were replaced. I have seen coils in the past that looked good with the meter but were bad. The igniter, i wasn't 100% sure i did the test for it...

One more question, i feel like a dummy even asking but i want to be 110% sure of what im looking at. I line up the crank at 0° and the two cams should line up with the marks up top correct?

I swapped the tps with a good one i had, there is no cat on the truck. It was destined for the scrap yard when i found it and they cut it off. I'm thinking it had to have jumped time, there is nothing else i can think of. Im gonna yank the cover off again tomorrow and i hope like heck it...

Stumped... Well, i got home and ran some more checks.. I double triple checked the timing,,, its good. I pulled all the plugs and have good sharp blue spark. I got an ignitor in the mail so i went ahead and put that in,,, no change.. Pulled the vacume hose off the fuel pressure regulator...

IC, i will check the fuel pressure regulator as soon as i get in! As far as the dizzy goes, is the pickup the part just under the rotor? I did a Google search and all i could find on that was the coil. Im not a super dummy but this truck is going to give me a ulser:rip:

I took the distributor out to check the gear on the end and i have it back in now but ive not been able to get the truck to run to re-set the timing. Would the timing be off enough with adjustment of the distributor to cause the fuel in the intake? When i pulled the timing cover i had the...

Well,, i just replaced the coolant temp sensor and went through all the wiring again, and still no start... when i pulled the ducting off for the mass air sensor i literally poured gas out of it. Im not sure if this was from cranking on it for two days or maybe a problem in the fuel system...

That code 24 is coolant temp sensor, there are 2 in manifold i think. There is one about as big as say a dime, i broke that one and replaced it when i did the swap but i think that one is for the gauge. Would you think the other one for the ECU would keep it from running?

I did check the timing, that was my first thought. I pulled the cover off and all the marks lined up and the belt looked fairly new

Thanks for the quick replies fellas! I have checked and rechecked the vacume hoses and the grounds. I can't even get it to run at all now. I'm positive that the intake gasket is sealed, it was sucking air after the swap and i fixed it. i have spark and now that i have cranked and cranked it...
