took it on what would've been an 8k mile round trip to Alaska and back, off roading where I could find it and loaded with ~300 pounds. almost made all the way back. at around 5k miles into the trip I started getting rough shifting, and code p770. tried a few trans drain and fills. helped a while...

I have the same truck. been thinking if it's possible to swap and it's good to know it is! but I do like the push button 4wd option, I like to use the 4hi unlocked because it's easy to explain to others that aren't familiar with engaging and disengaging 4wd after getting back in...

I'll be passing though palm springs in my 3rd gen later this month. at 310k it could def use a refresh. mind if I come by to see what you have left? I'll be looking for rear coils for a lift for sure but might also pick up a bunch of stuff depending on the money i have avaliable.
