Dual Battery Setup 1.5 Years In (AGM Woes)

I'm running 2 Odyssey batteries connected via a Blue Sea ACR. My batteries can charge via Alternator, Shorepower (CTEK hardwired) and I have a 100w solar panel on the roof rack. I absolutely love this system, I haven't turned my ARB fridge off in over 2 years and my Victron battery monitor is...

    Dobinsons 5th Gen 4Runner Snorkel

I just did this, we got 8 inches in KCMO and I was driving from Wichita to Kansas city for 3hrs while it snowed heavily. I had originally attached my snorkel to the A-pillar with VHB and it came loose after about 6-7 months so once I got home I had to pull the snorkel to rivet the bracket on...

My $5 mod in 5 mins.

Welp, I did get it out today, since the top popped off, I was able to fish the wires out of the dash using a bent coat hanger. I unplugged the blue factory harness and the light sensor base just fell down in the dash. I put the factory cap back on. The fog light/running light issue was a blown...

    2019 Current phone mount solutions?

Mine is a ram ball mount, short ram arm with a ram->17mm adapter then a Qi wireless charger. It has a light sensor that clamps down on the phone when put in the cradle, small spot on the back opens the cradle when tapped. It even has an onboard battery so it can be opened and closed with the car...

My $5 mod in 5 mins.

Well shit, I received a defective light sensor and when I tried to remote it the top popped off with ZERO pressure and the plug has now fallen back down inside the dash. I have no idea how I'm goin to get it out short of removing the window or the dash. Removing the stereo just exposes the...

    Attn: Scanguage II Owners!

Got my scanguage installed today, it wasn't very hard to program the TPMS into it. I'm very pleased with this product, really makes keeping an eye on my tires easy.

    Gobi Stealth Rack with Solar

Nope, but for my power needs I don't need to. I have two Odyssey batteries (34 and 35), 100w solar and shore power when needed. With the 50q ARB I don't need more than 100w and I don't need it angled. As long as it's sitting up there from sun up to sun down the two odysseys do great with the ARB...

    Gobi Stealth Rack with Solar

If you have to deploy it, you would be better off with a remote panel. Your probably going to want to park in the shade, therefore panels and 30’ of wire would be better for power when set out in the sun.

    Dobinsons 5th Gen 4Runner Snorkel

I also only used 3M VHB on the A pillar, the snorkel was pressing against it already after tightening it down, I don't think the VHB will have an problems. If it does, it'll take me an hour to fix with rivets, no big deal.

    Gobi Stealth Rack with Solar

I have a 100w panel on my frontrunner roof rack, my ARB has been set at 32* (it's a few * warmer than the setting) for 2 years now without being turned off. I do put it on shore power if I'll be in the garage for a long weekend. I still have plenty of room on my roof rack, it's nice to not think...

    Dobinsons 5th Gen 4Runner Snorkel

It made a huge difference, the template was ~1/4" off on 4 or so of the screws. I adjusted the holes and bolted the thing on. Took me a couple hours taking my time, nothing hard, but definitely don't skip step 5. For I think it could be better worded in the directions. "Check the template...
