But isn't my power steering pump suppose to be vertical and not slanted the way it is? It just doesn't seem right..I bought the correct belt for my truck and is seems too big.

All the pic's I see of other ones they appear to be straight up. Not sure why mine is tilted like that. There is no more room for adjustment.

I noticed from pictures I have seen that my power steering pump is not straight up..it slanted to the side. I cannot get it straight up to tighten the new belt I bought. The way you see it in the picture is the highest it can go before stopping on the adjustment bracket. Any ideas? It appears...

Thanks. I can't seem to find what the torque is for that idler pully. I believe its idler pully no.2 on the Haynes guide but I don't see a torque value for the four bolts that mount onto the intake side

Also, another thing...I cannot seem to find a gasket for the idler pully where the radiator hose goes into. Is this just some type of silicon ? The old one appears to have had like a cardboard type gasket AND some silicon .

Its a 1991. I've seen them so many different ways I am not sure what's right. Even on the Haynes book they are different on a couple their pictures.

Quick question.. Does it matter which way the cam sprockets face when installing them? I am on middle of a timing belt change and noticed my sprockets facing different as you can see from the photo.

So for sure I am need gaskets for the intake and valve cover right?... Anything else I would need? Anything I need to know or tips. Thanks

Hmm definitely did not just pop right out.. So now I have to remove the valve cover right? How hard is that to do, is it fairly simple?

Okay looks like I screwed up. How the hell does the pcv valve come off?. I spent a few hours just trying to get it off was basically impossible.. So then I started to tear off the rock hard rubber around it. Finally I broke off all the rubber around it, next thing I know the pcv valve falls into...

Cleaned up the steering box with degreaser and found where the leak was coming from. Was leaking from where the hose enters the box. I believe its the inlet. Replaced hose with a fresh one and leak stopped so far. Can I buy just the inlet fitting? It may be slightly bent.

Cool thanks. Also my check engine light just came on.. It flashes 2x then 5x. I looked it up and seems to be air flow sensor and oxygen sensor. I believe there is two oxygen sensors should I replace both?

Oil change. Should I be using a certain type of oil..high mileage, synthetic, 15w30 fine?..etc trans/transfer flush and fill. Some one told me the transmission can possibly start slipping if I do a flush? is this true. brake fluid flush and fill. any brake fluid in particular? diff fluid...
