Is there any information about how to alighn this properly? I have been trying to get this lined up with a pry bar for the last hour and have had no luck.

Are you sure this is right? I am using the bottle jack and have it at the right height but it really doesn't want to line up.

What about the angle of the bottom of the strut to the bracket on the control arm?

I just had the springs compressed by a mechanic struts installed and now I am back to install them in the 4Runner. I can't figure out how to get them back in and the bottom bolt seems like it won't line up with the bracket on the control arm. See the pictures below:
