I'm curious how much work was involved. Assume you had to take the trans and transfer case from the Tundra/Sequoia as well? What mods to the axles were made to handle the extra power/torque?

Just my .02, if you plan to keep it, do the lift and make it what you want it to be. If you plan to trade/sell, replace defective shocks with cheap stock equivalent to ensure a quicker sale and move on.

My problem with the Gladiator is that it's so loooong. It takes at least 35's and a lift to make it look right. In stock form it's just ugly and goofy looking. They should have made a shorter 2 door version, then it would be proportional and look right. As for 2 door 4Runner, I'm mixed on that...

I'd probably have to go Platinum to get the ventilated seats, panoramic moonroof, jbl sound, bird's eye view camera, and 2nd row "Captain's chair" seating.

If you like the size of the 4R, but just want a more comfortable highway cruiser, I'd check out the Highlander. I believe its dimensions are similar, but more family/on road oriented. Maybe get a few nore bells and whistles too while keeping Toyota reliability.

I think they missed the mark and a huge opportunity... IMO they should have taken the Limited, color matched all the chrome, slapped on a better looking 20" wheel, maybe a hood scoop and called it the "Limited Sport". It would also be nice to have a second trim level option with real leather...

Maybe placebo, maybe not... ours seems to run a little smoother and act a bit "peppier" on 89 vs 87. I didn't notice any further benefit when trying 91, so have stuck with running 89. Try different octanes out. It you notice one seems to make your specific truck happier stick with it. Otherwise...
