I am a California 4runner owner. (4th Gen) This has picked up my interest. I was not aware of this "tint" factor. I have a partially cracked right rear tail light plastic (a portion has fallen off) - but, for me, in my neck of the woods, - seemingly not enough to get the police to be unhappy...
