It was easier than I initially thought. If you know how to basic solder than it will be easy. Yea i agree i would not do white on white. I have the stock gauge and only changed out the lights. As you seen the picture it looks cool. Lexus like. The dimmer works on the LEDs.

I would replaced the leds, looks way nicer. Thanks to Darkie I got mine changed. As you know during the day the gauge lights remain on so with the white leds, it highlights it and makes it easier to see. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=44549

I callled the site selling this and they said it does not glow. It uses stock light. The stock light is amber so it would not look good at all. That's my opinion.

It was a stock battery when I purchased it back in April 2006.

Lackofguilt, were you the guy from AAA? :) That's excacly what happened. My old battery did died of bad cell and he would not charge bad battery with bad cell.

thanks fellows, i guess i can periodically check the battery voltage level and see if it goes down. But I sure would like to know what's the normal draw for piece of mind.

I have a 06 V8 Limited 4x4. Does anybody know what is the normal amp draw on Battery- Ignition Off- for Radio Memory and Clock? Does .13 sound high to you? If someone has a multimeter and test this out I would greatly appreciated. Thanks.

thanks for the info. i think i located the drain. I checked to make sure ALL loads are turned off. Unplug anything from cigarette lighter, removed my key from the ignition. Close all doors so the dome lights are off. With that I got a reading of .13 amp. When I removed the gauge fuse, it went...
