Thanks guys for this info. I was going to ask what could be causing my 2013 rear wiper from working. I thought it may have been a blown fuse. Sure enough it was the window not being completely closed, even though it looked like it was. :)

The problem was the part called switch assembly neutral. It's a good thing I had the extended warranty because the repair was over $500. The part itself which is a small part cost $281.00. I didn't have to pay anything. Everything is fine now, thanks for all of the advice and suggestions.

Thanks again, but I said I didn't clear the codes. I almost forgot I had that thing. I used it once about 7 years ago for an issue I had with a Tundra. It's a cheap one from Harbor Freight but it did the job. I have an appointment tomorrow morning with the dealership. I'll post how it works out. :)

There are 2 different versions of the sharkskin adapter. The F version and M version (female/male). I see you linked to the F version so I assume if that is the correct one for a 2012 it should also be for a 2013. No one incuding the 2 companies that sell them on Amazon could tell me for sure...

You are not kidding it is old. The unit that replaced it, the Z130BT is 2 years old. The newer model is $350 cheaper than yours on Amazon. The Z130BT has all of the features I want but I'm concerned about so many bad reviews. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Both of those seem to be primarily for iPhone owners. I have a Galaxy S4 and probably always will go with an android phone. But that Pioneer is very reasonably priced on Amazon.

You are probably right. I think I'll just go aftermarket. Bluetooth control on the steering wheel is preferred but I can live without it as long as I can do voice commands on the head unit. Thanks.
