Changed engine oil, engine and cabin filter, transmission filter + d&f, front and rear differential oil, and transfer case oil. Long day!

Just installed mine today! Super easy installation, looks great, and low wind noise. I switched my trail roof rack with a nightshade one for the lower profile, so now I probably have the only early model trail without a hood scoop and new style rack :laugh:

I have some gaps too after having my 4runner for 8 years and was thinking of replacing mine. If you don't mind me asking, what style of weather stripping did you use and how did you secure it?

Tied my rear diff and rear locker breathers together and routed it to the engine bay. Built a manifold with a breather vent made for gearboxes and extended the other breathers in the engine bay into it as well.

Nice to get it all cleaned up now that the snow and salt is off the roads (for now)!

If you can, take off your rear bumper and check the frame. There is another foam piece (I believe for the bumper to sit on). I had a ton of rust under it myself after 7+ years, most that is on the truck.
