Your case might be different, but replacing the skid control ECU worked for me. I have only had to re-do the ZPC once since I replaced the ECU, but that was due to upgrading the suspension. You might want to do this fix one step at a time; a used ECU should be around $100 on eBay. Good luck...

Definitely check all around the frame welds where the rear control arms attach and the support under the radiator where the front skid clips in. Both of those have rusted to hell on my New England 4Runner.
