Honestly I felt like the switch to 17's softened some of the cracks and bumps driving straight on over the 20's on road. Cornering didn't change either, I went from stock 20 to 17" with a C load AT tire.

I use it in off-road groups and caravans on road. Has worked better for me than CB generally. Ive used both and gmrs is easier with good range. If you want to talk to truckers I suppose they still use CB. I occasionally got some entertainment on the CB but I’d rather listen to music.

I replaced my LCA’s back in the spring, I went OE. Sawzalling out all the seized bolts was required but otherwise it’s easy. I was generous with the anti seize during reassembly.

Seems like there is no crown in the road here in Colorado. There is fresh pavement which lasts exactly one winter. Then there is the rutted out, pot holes from the plowing, mag chloride, and huge temp and humidity swings. Haha

zoomzoom there shouldn’t be any play in them and I’d have the same concern of them coming loose and out. Maybe it’s the cut or hung up in the socket. I can’t remember how I cut when I did it but it felt as snug as standard bulb.
