Bypassing Rear Heater
Yes, I've thought of that, but I don't have kids, so really no-one sits in the back seats. I'd leave the main heater hooked up of course, just not the rear heater that runs ~1/4" lines to the back of the car....
3VZ-FE Not Siphoning Coolant
Thanks for the suggestions. I've replaced the radiator cap and checked the overflow tube. It seems that it works on short drives, but not the longer drives. I've flushed the system (once) but I noticed MORE of that rust colored garbage in the bottom of the overflow...
