How long did it take you to install? And did you install from under the bumper or remove the bumper?

sorry for the dumb question, but are the TRS XB35 bulbs interchangeable with the XenonDepot ballasts? Basically, if I have the XenonDepot Kit, can I later swap out the bulbs and use the TRS Morimoto XB bulbs?

First off, this forum is awesome! It has a plethora of knowledge and have enjoyed my time on it and with my new 4runner. Are any of you guys from or around St. Louis? Wondering what shops you guys go to get work done, and what dealership is most cool in regards to aftermarket parts? :bluejump:

How would one go about doing that? Pull unhooking the battery?

Gotcha - ya im not sure. I mean its not a huge deal, just noticed the difference and have to note to make sure I turn my lights off just in case.

Hey - with my stock lights, if I left the stem turned all the way to have the headlights on, and turned my car off, they would eventually turn off within 10 seconds or so? (never really timed it). With the HID's installed, they no longer turn off automatically. I can actually turn the lights...

:fish2: XenonDepot I installed the kit without the relays

I think the consensus is that an aftermarket exhaust doesnt really do anything for performance. Ppl change them out mainly for the sound.

Yes I bought the Phillips 4300k kit. I wired everything up and had zero problems. They fire up fine. They just no longer auto off when I leave the lights on on the stem and turn the car off. XenonDepot

Thanks! This thing is louder than my old tahoe...but I love it! More than the Audi S4 I came from!

First of, I apologize for my newness...but this is the first toyota or 4Runner I have ever owned and came from a much more refined Audi. With that being said, are our V6 engines pretty noisy? At a stop light and at idle, I can hear the repetitive "thumping" of the cylinders or fan..not sure...

Also - did you guys need to re-aim after install?

Thanks! Also, did you lose the "auto-off" feature? What I mean by that is when I leave my lights on when I turn the car off, they will eventually turn off by themselves, but I noticed now they will not. (So I will have to always physically turn the lights off at the stem) Is this normal? Not...

Is this sligh buzzing from the ballasts ok?
