That happens with the early 3 gen I know for sure on the 96 and 97 the buzzing is normal after it is shut down. The mechanic was correct it is just dispersing the pressure all is fine. No cel so your good.

You need to reach down and pull on the release latch. Follow the cable from the handle down to the latch. There you will see where the pin pulls the latch open. Give that a pull while inside and push the hatch and you should get here to open. I had the same issue I just had to bang on the hatch...

No need to check the battery. It sounds like the contacts. Just a quick Jack up and unbolt the one wore sand it up and you should be good to go. Jm

I have checked the entire window for a break in the defroster lines and could not find any breaks. I have no idea. I am going to try flipping the wires over for the defrosters to see if it's the wire that's causing the issues.

See currently the top portion of the defrosters works it's the bottom half of the window that doesn't work. I will check the window to see if there is an break anywhere. I know if only half the window worked like right to left it would be a crack but it being separated from top and bottom I...

I disassembled the rear tailgate from inside and I noticed that there are 2 wires going to the window just wondering how difficult it is to follow the entire Wire through the truck.

Hello all, Just wondering if anyone has had the issue I am currently having I press my defroster button and only the top portion of the rear defroster works. The bottom have does not. Can anyone advise what the issue is and how to correct it. Thanks, JM

I would start by trying to clean the start contacts. I had the exact same issue. I could turn it over and it would only click and then all of a sudden it would start. Pull the contacts ensure they are clean and not corroded. After a little sanding put a little grease (for electric contacts) and...
