Got a call on Monday that I was on the list for the fuel pump recall and they had a spot for me on April 26 if I wanted to accept it. I said sure! So I'm set to have the fuel pump replaced in 12 days.

Not sure about that. Unit comes with a built in mic and and plug in. Didn't want to mess with pulling the unit out every time I wanted to change something, so just went with the plug in, figured it would be more reliable. Seems to be working fine and have no regrets or issues so far.

It sure looks that way. More rectangular, a “letterbox” look to the screen as opposed to a squarer look in the T9.

Maybe not much, but Dasaita is/might be a known brand so hoping that gives a more stable unit and better radio experience with less glitches than the t9. Output is 50 watts vs 45 on the t9 so slightly better on the Dasaita. PX10 chip on Dasaita, 10.2 inch screen, hdmi out, supports 4K video...

I ordered an adapter so I can use the original sharkfin antenna on the 4Runner, so I’m not gonna mess with that. I’ll see what happens with the mike.

Wow. Looks just as nice as the T9. Wasn’t sure what it would look like with the knobs in the lower part of the unit. Any suggestions for install once mine comes in?
