I'm gonna do it right now. That extended front subframe on the '99+ just bolts on. Take it off easy. Need the '96-'98 bumper brackets. You can make the '99+ brackets fit with a drill though. I have a '99 and also hate the fatlip bumpers

the frame is worth fixing, my uncle and I did mine. Mine's black with beige cloth but it's an SR5 w/o flares, not a Sport. Real nice truck there. Around here it would be worth around $3000 I'd say. Got mine for $2600

Got a p0125 code on my '99 4Runner 2.7L, did some research on here and found out it is engine coolant temperature problem. Some people say to check the thermostat but others were saying it's the A/F sensor. I don't notice any driveability issues. Is the A/F sensor part of the from O2 sensor or...

I got some from a 1991 Buick and cut them to fit. 4Runner rockers are expensive. It wasn't as much work as we expected. If you can weld, you can fix them. Otherwise I'd try to find replacement rockers for any vehicle that's big enough, and get a body shop to cut them to fit and weld them on

Mine has nothing to do with the power locks. It was converted to power locks by the previous owner. The return spring in the latch itself was preventing the door from unlocking. Got the door open but the problem still occurred. Took the latch right out, and the spring is just too weak. I lubed...

I don't know why they did that. I have a '99 4-cylinder and it seems lower than most of the other 1996-2000 4Runners I see. Mine is 21" from centre of hub to the fender
