    Canoe Setup?

Well, you could always go for broke and get a Gobi :biggrin1: Most Yakima and Thule accessories fit right on. I have canoe gunwale holders for my 16' Old Town and a ski rack that I use to hold surf rods. Edit: Looking at these photos, it's hard to believe they were all taken in New England -...

    Vermont Overland Trophy

Haha fair enough - and I don't think so. If I recall they still had several day trips planned throughout the year (including the expo). I'm considering buying the year pass - one day trip a month sounds like good practice for the trophy.

    Vermont Overland Trophy

If I can get my Shrockworks bumper in time, I'll be doing this run in my 5th Gen. I'm still looking for another truck for the team though ... Any takers? QJake?

    Seat Heater Install

Your green and yellow wires should all be fine to run to that pdnr light (assuming you tapped its power line and not its ground). You COULD run them all to the cigarette lighter if you want (the service manual is available on the forum and will show you how to remove the couple of plastic pieces...

    Seat Heater Install

Ahhh ... sounds like axxman and I have a different kit. I didn't think I was wrong on the wiring - that yellow wire on our kits only operates the yellow "on" indicator on the switch (as odd as that sounds) - atleast I'm 95% certain.

    Seat Heater Install

I would like to know as well. I could easily pull my yellow wires and tap them elsewhere. I could've sworn when I test wired mine my yellow wires didn't control the illumination of the green bars (which I thought was weird). Also, Antman, do you know if you tap them into a dimming circuit if...

    Seat Heater Install

You'll be so much happier if you pull the seats. It's ridiculously easy and this job would be nearly impossible to do otherwise - there are some rings on the bottom that would be a pain to get to and halving the seat makes the job alot easier as well.

    Seat Heater Install

Antman, The white strip you're talking about does not really light up, no. And the reason you can't connect green to dash lights is because it has to have power for the warmers to work at all - it acts as a trigger for the internal relay AND as illumination for the green side bars. Also...

    Seat Heater Install

Nice! Sounds like you and I had the exact same kit. I had to dremel away some plastic on the switch too. Also, we wired ours basically the same. I have the Trail with the 4wd Lever rather than the switch, so my seat control boxes fit perfectly nearly right beside it in the center console - and...

Backup cam and dash light ?

First, if no one has said it welcome to the forum and enjoy you 2k13 T4R. Secondly - and I've always wanted to be the one to say this - RTFM:gun5: (Read the :censored: Manual) And lastly - :becky: You can have the dashlights on full blast by using the dimming wheel on the left hand dashboard...

    my 2013 Trail is here...

Nice truck! I've got a 2012 Trail non-kdss. Kdss is rare to find in Ma. If you ever want to go wheeling or get some ideas for your new truck just let me know - don't know where you're located but I'm up in Salem and there are a couple of other board members around Ma. I JUST installed seat...

Decided to drive the Kancamagus in a Nor'easter

They are the Grabber AT2s - I've had them on several vehicles and am a firm believer in them, they've never let me down. They're the factory TE size (so 265/70R17 I think?) but they are E-rated.

Decided to drive the Kancamagus in a Nor'easter

Good eye! I wish I was the one taking the photos but I was too much of a little kid at Christmas with all the snow so the woman took them. The camera is my absolute favorite - a FujiFilm X100. The settings for that 3rd photo were: 400 ISO f 4.0 1/100 focal length: 23mm (fixed) You really...

Decided to drive the Kancamagus in a Nor'easter

Been meaning to get the photos up for a while - so my mom came up for Christmas and wanted to see some snow. As we were getting very little at the time I noticed that the White Mountain region of NH was scheduled for several feet of the stuff. After some careful deliberation, we decided to drive...
