Why Does the Thermostat Jiggle Valve Position Make Such a Big Difference?

Another thought, who knows..... with the jiggle up maybe it aerates the water a bit and sends more of a tiny bubbly mist throughout the system affecting temperature. When i pull my Tstat out (hopefully a long time from now) i'm going to try the down position

Why Does the Thermostat Jiggle Valve Position Make Such a Big Difference?

This subject really gets me thinking, and i'm really throwing this out from left field....maybe that little Jiggle valve is like the jiggle valves on grandmas old pressure cooker....with it down and no bubbles it just gets water flow pressure, with it up there could be a lot of bubbles and it...

    Vibration after lift???

If you have one of the cups on the u joint starting to go bad you may be able to feel with your hand as you spin the driveshaft using your palm to cup each one as to feel any unsmooth operation. I'm really old school and found many doing this... After that i would go to each wheel and...

    Vibration after lift???

Try jacking it up on all 4's put the vehicle in neutral with all brakes off (very important no strain is on the ujoint and they spin freely) and go underneath and push each U Joint up and down, left and right and see if any of them are different than the others in movement........ if that's fine...

Headlight Beam Pattern - Normal or No??

In my opinion your set up perfectly with the pattern (High Beams are especially nice) I did between 350 to 750 miles every day for many years. So this subject caught my eye. Left beam dead straight slight to the right, out with no overcast into the oncoming traffic, right side fills in with a...

Headlight Beam Pattern - Normal or No??

Headlight Beam Pattern - Normal or No??

I purhased the vehicle like that so i am not sure what year it is but it looks identical to my 96' light..... It's like the shiny inside got duller over the years. If they are identical i would go for the 99' ones but the last poster just made a good suggestion to get the brighter bulbs....nice...

Headlight Beam Pattern - Normal or No??

My 96' has one original headlight casing and one new casing.... both lenses are not faded from the sun but the inside chrome is nowhere near the quality of the newer side and it definitely shows in the quality of the light output. I will someday replace the older one but definitely a very big...

Headlight Beam Pattern - Normal or No??

I've driven Semi's all my life and the headlights are up much higher but i always noticed the curb side got more light than the white line drivers side.... You have a real solid beams dead center for the road in front of you so that's the main concern. Maine.... That's a beautiful state. Wish i...
