    Free: 3rd Gen HVAC Controls

Hey, guys. Long time no-own-4runner. Found this in in the closet when I was cleaning up. It's the in-dash HVAC controls for a 3rd gen; I don't recall the year of truck I pulled this out of. I don't need it and it's relatively small, so I'd be happy to send it to whoever wants it for free...

    NYC/Upstate NY 1996 4Runner 180k miles, 3" Lift, Annoyingly Tough Piece of Shit $4500

Nobody wants it and I'm not paying to store it. ****in' heartbreaking. I can't believe nobody even wants it for parts. It has Toytec rear springs on it with like 1,000 miles. What a world!

For the love of Pete someone free me from this curse. $2500 gets it this weekend! (Reports that this truck was the basis of the movie "It Follows" are completely unfounded.)

Andrew doesn't want it! And his grandma is yelling at me that I can't keep it there!

Bump for price drop. $3k! (Which is probably not even a price drop, since if you would have offered this to me a week ago I would have taken it.) Also still interested in trades for 2nd gen Tacoma accessories, incl. sliders, armors, bed rails, and/or general camping gear like a RTT or fridge.

Man, if parking weren't so stupid expensive here in the city, I'd think about it. I kind of want to drive/tow it out to KC where I'd from and throw it on a farm for turning into a mud bug.

Someone trade me a roof-top tent or a camper shell for this bad boy. Think of how much fun you'll have destroying it. You can even call me when you break something and I'll tell you how much money I spent replacing that. (Seriously, there's probably like $7000 worth of work into this truck...not...

For you, my friend? $3,500. (Everyone else still has to pay $4,500...OBO.)

NYC/Upstate NY 1996 4Runner 180k miles, 3" Lift, Annoyingly Tough Piece of Shit $4500 I'll try to keep this short. It won't be. After getting shitcanned last December, I needed a project truck to keep me from going insane. (I was younger then, and so naive!) I bought this '96 4Runner SR5 in...

Any Long Island or NY Metro area 4Runners in here?

I'm down by the Navy Yard/Ft. Greene. And why do we have to wait until it gets warmer? :)

    Lower ball joint failed !

I can, but I am about 150 miles away from home and still have to be on the west coast by next week, so I'm in a bit of a pickle. Currently thinking about picking up another truck and then towing the 4Runner home on the way back from CA. It won't be fun, though: gonna have to go through the...

    Lower ball joint failed !

Guess I picked the wrong day to joke about my eBay lower ball joint. Mine just failed on the freeway and did a (dealer estimated) $2k in damage. Might be the end of this truck.

    eBay Upper Control Arm

I'm cheap and an experimenter like you. (Or worse than you. :drum:) I might go ahead and get these now that you've figured out where the weak points are. Still ends up being a couple hundred cheaper than the All-Pros, even with the replacement bushings.
