    Same here for 97 Ltd. Someone said in another thread chaging springs weren't really ever necessary unless you are going to a more robust off road set up. Is that the case?

    Thanks LookAtThatDog. The alignment was checked in June by the previous owner, I just need to compare the results to the factory specs. The tack weld is for a loose slip joint in the steering assembly From the 3rd gen tutorial/reference section...

    Whats the most you would pay for this 3rd gen?

    I spent June through the end of Sept pricing Runners in central TX areas and was hard pressed to find any 3rd gen under $3500 regardless of mileage/condition, under 200k was $4500 and up. People know there is a demand for them and they didn't last long on craigslist.
