Trim melting, potential problem for the new 2025 4Runner

Imagine that, only a few models have this problem out of all the vehicles ever built. What are the odds?

OEM Tire Mileage Is Pretty Awesome

After putting Michelin Defenders on my 2016 they are all I use. I put 4 new Defenders on my new 2023 4Runner when it had 26 miles on it. Discount Tire gave me $50 or $60 each for the what came on it.

Using Premium Gas To Clean Your Engine

When I was growing up in the '50s and '60s some folks would run a tank of Shell Premium through their cars every few months or once a year because the Shell Premium supposedly had a much better additive package than the regular cheap gas. My father used Esso - later Exxon - and didn't seem to...

Can Someone Explain Why Front is Lifted More?

"The 4Runner looks better, more purposeful, with no rake" To you maybe. Both of mine look fine with my fishing boat hooked up. They've looked great loaded for fishing out on the beach for 6 weeks or so a year. Wife, dog, chairs, umbrella and Shibumi, 4 or 5 rods, 3 coolers, recovery gear, etc...

    Official Reveal Thread 2025 6th gen 4Runner

I love North Carolina's Outer Banks. Now where is that other picture? We all know it's more about the driver. Your browser is not supported | delawareonline.com Rt. 12 north ends in Corolla NC. Well, the paved part does while the official state road goes out on the beach for the last 12...

TRD features - moonroof charged as an option

I vote for "sticker printed at dealership by an idiot" When I bought my TRD ORP last July they showed me a window sticker copy and the features and options were EACH followed, line after line, by FIO or PIO... fatory installed options / port installed options. She told me all of the options...

    Official Reveal Thread 2025 6th gen 4Runner

"All I can say is I'm REALLY glad I picked up a '24 ORP in January." I avoided the rush and bought my '23 ORP in July. I put it in the garage for 2 weeks and drove my '16 to Ocracoke Island for two weeks before my stepson got it. He was there for a week with his family so fair is fair.

Yowza, that's some nasty design and engineering. Maybe they are still working on a final solution? :noidea:

"Everyone is entitled to be a luddite" You know, if you are going to stoop to name-calling insults at least capitalize Luddite. It would make you appear to be more educated and believable.

    4RUNNER Tailgate Badging

Well, there are real engineers and then there are software engineers. And train engineers of course. :) AND THEN we have... "Marketing engineers are an essential part of a company's marketing team because they apply technical knowledge to sales and marketing campaigns." As to the original...

    Official Reveal Thread 2025 6th gen 4Runner

Speaking of the need for an engine bay cover to hide the mess, does anyone remember the early spaghetti wired Sony Trinitrons from 50 years or so back? I had a 13" from '74. Great tv once I tightened down the transformer that was squealing and making the dogs howl.

" It's uncomfortable for a lot of current 4Runner owners to accept that the new one is a vast improvement over the 5th gen. Again, natural and normal for those financially and emotionally invested in, let's be frank, very expensive vehicles." In your nsho, which I think is mostly psychobabble...

Deal - Dewalt 1600 jumpstarter at Home Depot

I haven't had to use either NOCO yet for starting a vehicle. My jumper cables are still in the truck and I haven't used them for 8 years.
