Thanks for the recommendation. I will take the truck to the Skippack shop this week, once the inclement weather peels off. They do work w/ State Farm which is a bonus. I think a 3rd estimate is prudent just because of the variance btw the two estimates i have right now.

more rugged trucks are, imo, far more likely to have drums in the rear. It was already said briefly, but drums in the back deal a lot better by design with the dirt and debris kicked up by the front half of the car. I just had my rear drums worked up at 77K mules and now the truck stops great...

true. my truck has yet to see a trail since I've gotten it and I've never locked the rear.

if you put them in the oven (which is common practice for light modders), just make sure you have a second set in case you overcook them. :D

oh by the way, when I had the windshield in my 98 Prelude replaced (due to massive damage caused by concrete debris from a truck), I requested PPG-glass and got it. My buddy worked for PPG and made the recommendation. This was done under warranty, and I happen to live in PA. Good luck!

when getting your windshield replaced, I recommend you insist they use PPG-manufactured glass. Top notch.
