    Soldering climate control circuit board?

I am very interested in sending my CC in as well. The defrost and cabin air recycle circuit board is out on mine. I have my old burnt out CC and I know it works fine on that one. I just want to swap it out and I am thinking about bringing it to an electrician unless someone can refer it to...

    Huge Problem (2005 SR5)

To anyone that cares, I got my used climate control in today. It works for the most part. All the LCD things light up and tell me whats going on. The dials all light up and work. The only thing is that the rear defrost and air cabin recycle don't work thanks to a complete broken circuit...

    Huge Problem (2005 SR5)

$1200 is insanity since they said it would take 30 minutes to install which is still BS because its only screw and a couple clips. 5 minutes tops. They just want to squeeze every penny out of the customer. I bought a second hand one on Ebay last night for $150. May or may not work, either...

    Huge Problem (2005 SR5)

I checked the plug. That was actually the first thing I checked. No bent pins anywhere. No detached circuitry either. Everything looked fine. Brought it into the stealer, they say that the whole climate control console is shot and needs to be replaced (of course they would). I asked if I...

    Huge Problem (2005 SR5)

Thank you Z. I appreciate it. I looked them up on the interwebs and I can get one cheaper than a grand like you mentioned. Some are really run down and arent in very good condition, looks wise. It's just so odd that the clock works and the lights turn on for the 3 fan/temp dials, but no...

    Huge Problem (2005 SR5)

I am hoping that someone can help me with this issue because it's a big one. I needed to replace a couple small bulbs in the climate control area. I have done this before, no biggie. Took out the climate control, replaced the bulbs, put it back as per usual. Then it hit the fan. I could not...

Very nice ride! Black is the best looking color IMO. Wish I could have gotten mine in black instead of grey.

Thanks! Thanks man. I appreciate it. First time owning something other than a sedan. Hopefully I can get the most out of this vehicle. I plan on keeping it until it just wont run. Which means I have LOTS of time to enjoy it.

Hey everyone. Names John and I live in Wisconsin. Just bought a 2005 SR5 4Runner last month. Traded in my 2003 Altima for it. Needed the space because of a growing family. Thought I would join in this forum to get ideas on how to enjoy the truck as much as I can when not being a dad.
