Great write up, I too am having an issue with the door ajar light flickering. I think it may be my rear hatch door, but I will check all around just to be sure once I get some free time.

I would change out the lower ball joints just to be safe. That was one of the first things I did to mine when I got it. Looking good so far, and enjoy the process.

Changed alternator next is breaks and fluids.

if it was well maintained, I would have no problem purchasing one with that mileage.

I had a similar issue with coolant loss. I rented the coolant/radiator pressure tester from autozone for another car I was working on and decided to pressure test my radiator cap. The cap held no pressure, I purchased a new cap and now Im not loosing any coolant. Worth a shot...
