Found a decent 1992 4runner at a local impound lot. However, it is not running. Dude says he thinks its just the engine but that's all he will say. What am I looking at in getting a new motor? Cost etc... Everything else on it appears pretty good.

Looking at that link it looks like the timing belt/water pump is an expensive maintainence issue. How do I check if that's been done or not if they don't have the records?
