Premium is not available in all of AK. Nor is it available in all of YK. But I'd bet it'll run on regular, or whatever is in the tank, just detuned. Modern engine management is able to handle detonation from lower fuel quality. As far as snow, it's fine. It's not any different than a NA vehicle

Im contemplating selling my 2020 orp and picking up a GX but there are a few things that are holding me back. However I am not sure if the gx is actually worth the additional ~30k when I already have the 4runner. Maybe if it came with a front locker and the new sway bar disconnect I would feel...

The key is the lamest, cheapest feeling key I've ever had. As far as the button for keyless entry, no. Those buttons are hideous and feel cheap. The touch sensor work great for other makes. Toyota just has a really hard time with software

its a pretty simple shift pattern. Most people probably aren't looking at it while shifting

You could also just put the tcase in neutral.

The fender liners will also come out. Let the tar remover soak. Heat also helps if you have a steamer

I'm with this guy. I don't see the point of stiffer sway bars a 4runner.

There are plenty of threads on these transmissions here and in the Facebook groups. They aren't infallible

All 4runners have a factory tow package consisting of a receiver, a trailer harness hookup, and a plug for a trailer brake controller

I just installed one on my 2020. Have not used it yet but install is a breeze. If you spend extra to get the toyota switch bezel, the wiring harness, and the mounting bracket install will take about 20 minutes.

Since you don't do any off-roading and do a bunch of highway miles I'd recommend you buy literally anything else than a 5th gen 4runner.
