    Random misfire/system too lean

Clean your MAF, too. This was the cause of my lean mixture, which I imagine could then cause a misfire under heavy load. It's easy and basically free.

    Brake Troubles...

If i had it to do over, however, i would do the Tundra brake swap. Those are more the size that these trucks should have up front.

    Brake Troubles...

Ebc I have slotted EBC rotors in the front w/ EBC greenstuff pads and they feel great and have held up well over 25k miles. However, I too just had a rear seal go out, so my rear boots are toast. :nono: Parts are on the way to change out the seal. I'll get the new shoes on @ that point too.

    P0171

Ditto I have the exact same problem with almost the same truck. 2000, sr5 sport, 4wd, non-cali emissions. My problem initially popped up right after I did the deckplate mod and ISR removal (more air leaned out the mixture). I still haven't fixed the problem, but I removed the mods and the...

Daystar Spacer Lift vs. Toytec spacers and OME 906

Thanks for the warning, Brian. I definitely don't want to do something that I'll be wanting to redo in a year. But what about the lift below? Or is that the spacer that preloads the front springs? 2.5" Lift Kit w/spacers & rear OME coils - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift...

Daystar Spacer Lift vs. Toytec spacers and OME 906

When you say that the toytec spacer sits on top of the strut rather than preloading the spring, is that true of the 2.5" spacer or just the top plate spacer? If that's the case with the 2.5" spacer, I'm thinking toytec spacers in the front and 890's in the rear isn't bad for $280. Can the 2.5"...

Daystar Spacer Lift vs. Toytec spacers and OME 906

Hey guys. I know there are countless "which lift should I buy" threads, many of which don't end in the purchase of a lift, but I have a question about a combo I haven't really read about. I was looking at a cheap daystar spacer lift (2.5"). I like it because it is very cheap, gives a nice...

Yes you can clear logged faults. I find the app to be very useful in diagnosing problems. Cheapest way I know of.

    Spare Tire Tools

When I bought my 4runner, I knew that the factory jack and tools were missing, which is no big deal - I just keep a hydraulic jack in the truck. However, I'm just now realizing that part of the "tools" is an extension to release the spare tire. Anybody know where I can get just this tool? Or...

    P0171 Code - Lean Bank 1... Help?

I think I may have figured out part of my problem... My downstream O2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 2, right?) is oscillating between .07 and .9 volts. From what I've read, this indicates that my catalytic converter is bad. Does that sound correct? If so, I'm still a little bit confused, because it...

    P0171 Code - Lean Bank 1... Help?

but I don't understand why the fuel trim 2 would read 99.2% when the O2 sensors are reading normally. anybody?

    P0171 Code - Lean Bank 1... Help?

Hey Guys. I searched around, but couldn't find exactly what I'm having trouble with. I have a recurring CEL popping up for P0171 - Fuel Trim System Lean - Bank 1. When I hook up my bluetooth OBDII scanner, I notice the following: O2 sensor 1 - acts normal 02 sensor 2 - acts normal MAF -...
