Do a search for differences between progressive and digressive shocks. Bilstein is digressive so it rides harsher going over terrain at a slower pace. This is the reason I happily moved on from my 6112’s to a progressive shock that now rides way smoother.

Mine had a slight whine, called Nitro and was told there should be absolutely no noise. Had it readjusted and it’s been quite since.
