Finally got around to putting my cheap JVC unit in... And I realized it isn't quite as wide as the stock unit.

Looking good so far. Always nice to have additional power outlets...sort of makes me want to do the same.

I've been thinking about plastidipping the wheels on my white 4Runner too. From other pictures I've seen, I think it looks great. Congrats on the purchase also.

I think you'd just need a remote. I believe it will work with any programmable remote.

You southwest of Dubuque? I saw some of the pics from the Monticello area and they showed some pretty big hailstones.

I believe that if you look down where the metal part of the key meets the plastic, there should be a small circle on one side if it is chipped. I believe alarm systems are an add-on except maybe in the case of the limited edition (not sure on this), but the immobilizer unit is standard.

Yeah looks pretty sweet. I don't think there are really any public areas like this in the Dubuque area unless you know someone who owns a lot of private property. I remember going offroading near the Mines of Spain way back when I was in high school more than 10 years ago, but I'm pretty sure...

I just bought my 2008 SR5 4WD with about 69k miles for $18k. I couldn't find anything within 150 miles with less than 90k on it besides this one. They were actually asking $21000 for it too, but I spent half my day haggling with them and was able to get it down a bit.

Just springs in the back. I guess I'll just keep the stock springs unless there is a great reason to upgrade them too. Thanks.

Would I need to get springs too or can I just use the stock ones? Sorry, pretty new to this still!

I recently purchased a 2008 SR5 with 4WD with 70K on it. I love it so far...it's a great upgrade from my Mitsubishi Eclipse. The size and the 4WD were a big reason for the purchase...plus it looks awesome. While my Eclipse didn't have the smoothest ride, it does seem like it was quite a bit...
