don't the Bilsteins have a hex on the top so you can use an allen wrench to hold it while tightening with an open ended wrench? I thought I remembered them having that..

There are some videos on Youtube showing how to check for play in your ball joints by jacking the front up and wiggling the wheel to look for play. Follow those for a simple check on your own. also you can literally turn the wheels and get down and inspect them yourself to make sure the boots...

In case you were curious.. these are with the "12V 48 LED panel" ebay LEDs. Shipped from China. one cab, and one cargo area. I also replaced the map lights - but those aren't turned on in this photo. These two 48 LED panels were $3.66, shipped. haha! The map lights are 12 LED if you're curious...

LEDs... did you go with the LED panels for the passenger/cargo? If not I would totally recommend spending the 6 bucks for the huge panels on eBay and installing those. They're bright AF. haha

I got two for ya brotha If you're willing to make the drive down to OC, I would recommend Import Auto Clinic off of 91 near 57. Family owned place, but quite large. I took my 97 there last summer for a few things - the largest being the timing belts, pump, and radiator. Great guys...

intown/highway and offroad tires are two different tires completely though.. You're either going to need to go with a tread pattern/design that's a four-season type, highway tire if you do the majority of your driving on the streets and prefer/desire a quiet ride with least affect on your mpg...
