i hav my back 3 windows covered with 5% on top of factory and its not 2 dark.. besides with the back window roll down its no big deal- jroyal29

Bumper rust-through prevention?
rustoleum would b good if u sprayed the back of the bumper and just cleanin the chrome regularly would b fine- jroyal29

agreed.. unless theres somthin seriously wrong with the head or a hole in the block then it should b fixable. doesn't sound like the crank either- jroyal29

4runner can't pretty much fit any size head unit.. kenwood's excelon head unit is best bang for ur buck and quality and they hav every type from low budget 2 high dollar set ups- jroyal29

Is putting bigger size tires on '99 4Runner a bad idea?
if u got a 2wd then prob running 225.. u could go with 245 or 255 and it would b a large improvement and still won't affect anything that enough for u 2 notice- jroyal29

Is putting bigger size tires on '99 4Runner a bad idea?
the only thing that it will hurt is ur gas mileage.. 265 won't mess with ur speedometer reading.. 285 will start 2 throw it off a little.. so 2 sum up its not a bad idea @ all- jroyal29

u hav 2 get a plug and play for the hids and retrofitting projectors would look clearer.. for the custom grill u cut out the center and u could make it mesh or do the satoshi mod which looks really good- jroyal29

1998 and 1999 Swap Out
the lights r interchangeable so they'll fit but the bumper reinforcements on the 2 yrs r different so the guard most likely won't fit- jroyal29

short of retrofitting prejectors there's not much u can do 2 the head lights themselves.. u could get clear corners and bumper lights.. somthin cool 2 do while its apart would b 2 customize the grill- jroyal29
