I went through a few of these. Same issue each time. Took one apart one time and saw a capacitor on the board had fried.

I only used glossifier on the front emblem. I did not use any on the black bumpers. It still has a tiny bit of a shine.

Here is my wheelskins. I did a cross stitch and put it under the spokes at the bottom.

Installed wheelskins cover and plasti dipped emblem. Still unsure how I feel about it.

Just installed them. When in drl mode there is still a tiny bit of flicker. When in high beam mode there is zero flicker. I keep going back and forth on whether to return them or not.

The black part is stock on trail editions. For masking, just mask off a large square around the emblem so there is an easy edge to peel. The front emblem I removed before dipping.

Here is a link: H11: Morimoto Elite HID System - HID Systems from The Retrofit Source Inc Went with the 55w 5k option. Was able to hide the ballasts and relay behind the bumper for a very clean install.

They come with projectors but they are not HID. Bought my kit from retrofit source.

1 month in, Phase 1 complete!! Update: Lots of rubbing on the 275/70's because I went with a negative offset wheel. Switched them out for 275/65R18 and all rubbing is gone. Front and rear bumper trim has been plasti dipped black Front emblem plasti dipped white HID Conversion installed...

Just installed morimoto hid conversion kit from retrofit source. Great kit and lights are awesome. Low beams on 14' is h11

Wheels and Tires installed!! 18x9 Fuel Mavericks -12 275/70/18 Duratracs Hope to get front bumper plasti dipped and front emblem done tonight. HID's get delivered wednesday.
